Job Title : Vehicle Technician

Salary : £38,000 - £40,000

We are working with a well-established family-run independent car dealership in the Poole area who are looking for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their busy Service Department. The Vehicle Technician role comes with a basic salary of £38,000 - £40,000 with fantastic opportunities for progression.

Position Details :

  • Full-time, permanent position
  • Joining bonus (paid after probation)
  • Monday to Friday working hours (8.30am - 5.30pm)
  • Bonus week's pay at year-end for no sickness taken
  • Group pension
  • Training and personal development budget
  • Generous annual leave (22 days plus bank holidays)

Key Vehicle Technician Roles and Responsibilities :

  • Undertake maintenance, service, and repair activities on motor vehicles to the highest standard.
  • Carry out all work completely and effectively whilst adhering to manufacturers scheduled times to maintain efficiency.
  • Effectively record details of diagnosis, work completed, and components utilised in line with group and manufacturer standards.

    • Minimum Vehicle Technician Requirements :

  • Qualified to NVQ level 3 (or equivalent).
  • At least 2 years experience after a qualifying period, of working in a Dealership as a Technician (or similar).
  • Good technical knowledge.
  • Must have a Driving License.
