About the Role
As our Business Development Manager, you will lead the charge in identifying new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and delivering measurable results across the defense and space sectors. You'll work closely with key stakeholders and internal teams to expand our market presence, drive revenue, and build long-term customer success.
Key Responsibilities
- Hit and exceed sales targets across key platforms and customer groups
- Identify and win new business in defense, aerospace, and emerging space markets
- Manage high-level stakeholder relationships with a strategic mindset
- Use Salesforce to manage pipeline, forecasts, and business planning
- Stay informed on industry trends and leverage competitive intelligence
- Develop and support marketing content, press releases, and trade show presence
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver outstanding customer experiences
What We’re Looking For
Proven success in Space, Aerospace, or Defense (Land sector expertise preferred)Track record in securing deals ranging from £3M–£10MExcellent communication, negotiation, and public speaking skillsAbility to thrive under pressure, multitask, and lead with confidenceExperience with Salesforce and sales forecasting toolsDegree in STEM preferred; 10+ years in customer-facing roles or military transitioners welcomeWillingness to travel across the UK, Europe, and beyondSecurity clearance eligibility requiredThe Offer
