Quantity Surveyor

Location : Birmingham based with a minimum of 2 days in the office

Engagement : Inside IR35

Rate : £400 - £450 per day depending on experience

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a Main Contractor who specialises in civils, energy, and infrastructure.

Our client is looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join them on a Civil Engineering, Substation site. This is a long-term contract, inside IR35, with the opportunity to move on to other upcoming projects.

Key responsibilities for this Quantity Surveyor role :

• QSs prepare cost estimates and budgets for projects, considering materials, labour, and equipment.
• They prepare tender documents, including bills of quantities, and evaluate tenders from contractors.
• QSs manage contracts, including negotiation and administration of changes, and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
• They identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency without compromising
• Monitor project costs, track expenditure, and implement cost control measures to stay within budget.
