Circa £29,743 – depending on skills and experience + standby payments + business use of company van

Permanent, 37 hours, Full Time

Location : Bury St Edmunds but covering wider East of England

Join us as a Recycling Operator , responsible for emptying, maintaining and cleaning and repairing AW Water & wastewater Lagoon, setting up contingency Biosolids cake bay and sites. Close liaison with the central WROL Controlling Team, WROL Operations Managers and Support Managers and C&E Sales and Compliance teams

Responsibilities Include :

Complete Daily machine / vehicle checks / tasks in line with daily servicing schedule

Operation of machinery / plant / vehicles in accordance with Daily Work Schedule

Close liaison with the WROL Controlling team regarding operational issues i.e. changes to work instructions, Health & Safety issues, Machine defects etc

Compliance with all relevant legislation

Full and accurate completion of all internal paperwork / documentation

Weekly return of completed paper work, including Driver weekly machine / vehicle check sheets

The Ideal Candidate will have :

B&E Licence preferred

Excavator / Telehandler and Loader experience required (NPORS is desirable)

Knowledge of Health and Safety procedures is essential

IOSH qualification is desirable but not essential

Knowledge of Water Recycling / Environmental protection is desirable
