Job Title : Ocean Freight Coordinator

Location : Ipswich, IP10

Salary : £28,000 per annum

Working Hours : Monday to Friday, 9 : 00am - 5 : 30pm

About the Role :

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Import / Export Coordinator with at least 1-2 years of experience in deep-sea operations. This is an exciting opportunity to join a busy and fast-paced team where full training on customs entry procedures will be provided.

You will play a key role in supporting the import / export operations from end to end, ensuring shipments are processed efficiently and in compliance with customs regulations.

Key Responsibilities :

• Monitor and track daily shipments to ensure timely movement and delivery.
• Liaise with importers, overseas agents, and internal teams to collect all necessary information for customs clearance.
• Review commercial invoices and packing lists to extract accurate data for CDS import declarations.
• Support clients with goods classification and import requirements.
• Use specialist software including CNS and Destin8 for cargo and shipment tracking.
• Coordinate carrier haulage bookings with shipping lines.
• Arrange haulage and container unpacking with approved hauliers and third-party warehouses.
