Plant Engineer (Machinery)

Job Title : Plant Engineer (Heavy Plant Machinery)

Location : Alton.

Salary : Competitive, dependent on experience.

Hours : Monday to Friday, 7 : 30am – 5 : 00pm.

Job Type : Full-time, Permanent / Temp to Perm.

Main purpose of the Role :

• To lead the hands-on cleaning, refurbishment and mechanical repair of used equipment Daily Work Description.
• Take ownership of daily workshop activities, in line with customer requirements and priorities.
• Machine valeting and preparation for sale. Including pressure washing, cab cleaning.
• Through cleaning for export shipments.
• Panel beating and body repair including filling, sanding and paint spraying.
• General plant fitting and good understanding of common construction plant mechanics.
• Some site-based / field work may be occasionally required.
