Job description

We are looking for a Digital Trading Planner to join our busy E-commerce Team.

This is a great opportunity as a Trading Planner to create and maintain the digital timeline and plan for BAU events to ensure a cohesive and consistent approach to main business campaigns.

Permanent role based from our office in Raunds, Northamptonshire 2-3 days week with home working.

What will I be doing as a Digital Trading Planner?

  • Work with key stakeholders to translate and communicate the wider plan into specific digital executions such as for the Homepage, Social media, web merchandising and digital marketing and ensure that they are executed consistently with other business channels such as print.
  • Work closely with the merchandisers to timeline requirements for landing pages and publications.
  • Understand the commercial benefits to the planned work and ensure that reporting requirements are captured and in place.
  • Create a wide, maintained network in order to gain trust and buy-in to the digital requirements.

What do I need to qualify for this role?

  • You will have a positive can-do attitude and be a great communicator
  • A self-starter who has a proactive approach to work.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills along with a creative mind-set to make detailed timelines look visually appealing are favoured.
  • A willingness to work as part of a multi-skilled team is a must.
  • An ability and desire to understand new technologies is a must, as is a flexible approach to working.
  • Previous experience of planning work across multiple stakeholders and translating it into an easy to understand visual plan is ideal.
  • The ability to form long-lasting, engaging working relationships is vital.
  • Experience of tools such as Visio are not essential but would be advantageous.
  • Previous E-Commerce knowledge would be an advantage but is not essential for this role.
