PMC Project Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide remote and in-person site support to deploy solutions, fixes and patches to resolve technical issues. Deliver PLC / SCADA / DCS training to operators, maintenance staff and engineers.
• Assist in delivering PMC lead projects by building computer platforms, installing software and licenses, migrating older versions of SCADA / DCS to latest releases and providing documentation for new projects.
• Support PMC Project Managers in review calls by providing clarity on technical issues, and remedial actions. Document key findings and resolutions as customer Frequently Asked Questions document ensuring similar problems are not repeated across projects.
• Own the Technical Review process as part of the bidding phase. Assist with reviewing RFQ’s and work with P&E team to create project specific solutions, architectures and proposals.
• Assist with maintaining and updating the Customer Experience Centre in Manchester.
