Employment Solicitor (2 PQE) | Bishop's Stortford Office A progressive and modern law firm with a strong regional presence and a longstanding reputation for excellence is seeking an experienced Employment Solicitor to join its team based in Bishop’s Stortford. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident, commercially minded lawyer to take the next step in their career within a supportive, values-led environment. The Opportunity You’ll work on a broad range of contentious and non-contentious employment matters, acting for both employers and employees across sectors including education, healthcare, and commercial enterprise. The work is varied and engaging, covering unfair dismissal, discrimination, TUPE, redundancy, grievance and disciplinary matters, employment contracts, and more. There will be opportunities to represent clients in Employment Tribunals, undertake advocacy at various hearings, and support businesses with day-to-day employment law queries and provide strategic advice. You’ll also play a role in negotiating settlements and managing claims, delivering high-level client care and commercial awareness. Who We’re Looking For : A qualified solicitor (England & Wales) with at least 2 years’ PQE in employment law Strong experience across both contentious and advisory matters Confident handling Tribunal litigation from start to finish Commercially astute, solutions-driven, and able to build strong client relationships Comfortable working independently, while being a team player Why Apply?
