Document Controller £30,000 - £35,000 Ipswich gap construction are seeking a Document Controller to join a leading Tier 1 interiors company with a longstanding reputation for excellence across commercial fit-out and refurbishment projects. Performance Objectives Take ownership of all document control processes across the project lifecycle, ensuring documentation is managed in accordance with internal protocols and client requirements. Maintain accurate records of all drawings, specifications, and project documentation. Coordinate document flow between internal teams, subcontractors, and external stakeholders. Implement and manage document tracking systems to ensure all parties are working to the latest versions. Provide training and support to project teams on document control procedures and platforms. Ensure timely collation and delivery of O&M manuals to project completion deadlines. Utilise platforms such as Oracle Cloud and Procure to manage and track procurement documentation and workflows. Collaborate closely with the commercial and project management teams to ensure alignment on document and data control.Person Specification Proven experience in a Document Controller role within construction, ideally with exposure to fit-out or interiors. Experience with O&M manual compilation is highly advantageous. Familiarity with Procure and Oracle Cloud software systems is preferred. Excellent organisational skills with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy. Strong IT skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and document management systems. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment.
