Our client, a fast-growing and ambitious organisation, is seeking an Interim Financial Controller to provide stability, leadership, and strategic oversight during a period of change. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and can confidently lead a finance function from day one.

Responsibilities :

As an Interim Financial Controller , you will…

  • Manage the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Deliver high-quality management accounts, board reporting, and financial analysis
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning activities
  • Provide day-to-day leadership to the finance team, maintaining strong controls and processes
  • Support audit preparation and liaise with external stakeholders including auditors and banks
  • Drive process improvements and support finance transformation initiatives

Requirements :

As an Interim Financial Controller , you will need…

  • A full accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
  • Strong experience in a similar senior finance role, ideally in an interim capacity
  • In-depth knowledge of financial reporting standards (IFRS / UK GAAP) and compliance
  • A hands-on, commercially minded approach with the ability to lead and influence
  • Proficiency with financial systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP platforms
