Location :   Preferred Northwest and Southwest of England. Remote working with frequent office and client sites visits.

What you'll be doing :

• Site surveys and assessments of the capacity of the plant to meet future demands.
• Feasibility, outline, and detailed electrical design, including P&IDs, instrument schedule, load schedules, load assessments, MCC specifications, cable calculations, system architectures, user requirement specifications, block cable diagrams, single line diagrams, earthing diagrams, I / O schedules, loop diagrams, SCADA and telemetry design and lightning assessments.
• Technical report writing at all stages of the project lifecycle.
• Working with multi-disciplinary teams with clients within the UK.
• Production of general arrangement drawings and detailed electrical design drawings.
• Supporting bids, fee proposals or offers of service; development of activity schedules / work plans.
• Understanding of DSEAR, CDM, WIMES, British and European Standards and other statutory, regulatory, and non-regulatory provisions and guidance.
• Participation in Hazard Studies including HAZOP, HAZCON and HAZCOM.
• Contributing to the development of standard and bespoke design solutions for the water industry and beyond.
• Performing calculations and reports, developing schedules etc.
• Considering CAPEX and OPEX implications of design decisions at all stages of a project.
