This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in reshaping operational strategy, structure, and performance as part of a growing and ambitious organisation. The Role : Reporting directly to the Operations Director, the Operations Manager will be instrumental in re-engineering the structure and processes of the administration team. The role involves oversight of daily operations, strategic input into team development, and the implementation of systems and processes to ensure the delivery of high-quality client outcomes. Key Responsibilities : Strategic Development Support the implementation of a new team structure. Define employee progression paths, salary bandings, and role profiles. Develop and introduce new staff appraisal and bonus frameworks. Design and roll out a hybrid working model. Recruitment & Staff Development Manage end-to-end recruitment and onboarding for key roles. Conduct team-wide skills and knowledge assessments. Create and implement training and development plans tailored to individual and team needs. Team Management & Performance Monitoring Oversee daily workflow and task distribution. Monitor and report on : New business and general admin volumes / service standards. Client annual review completion and compliance. Technical Adviser Support performance. Liaise with advisers to optimise administrative support. Provide regular reports to senior leadership on team and operational performance. Process & Technology Improvement Collaborate with a Process Improvement Manager to streamline operations. Identify and implement technology solutions to drive efficiency and improve service delivery. Key Skills & Experience : Proven experience in operations or team management within financial services or a regulated sector. Strong grasp of workflow management, KPIs, and process improvement. Skilled in leading, motivating, and developing high-performing teams. Demonstrated experience in designing appraisal, training, and reward systems.
