Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Trading Risk Manager to establish and lead the London Trading Risk Desk. This leadership role involves real-time and post-trade risk monitoring, developing risk frameworks, and maintaining the integrity of derivatives trading across global venues.

Responsibilities

• Setup & Leadership : Build and lead the London Trading Risk Desk, developing frameworks, tools, and procedures aligned with Eightcap’s global risk model.
• Market Risk Oversight : Monitor live trade flows to manage exposure, pricing risk, and toxic order flow across FX, indices, crypto, commodities, and shares. Respond swiftly to market volatility and anomalies.
• Exposure Management & Analytics : Manage exposure and P&L attribution across asset classes. Conduct trade reviews, stress tests, and scenario analysis for risk-informed decisions.
• Margining, Limits & Escalations : Define and maintain risk limits, automated margin controls, and escalation protocols supporting business growth.
• Risk Technology & Automation : Collaborate with engineering teams to enhance risk tools via APIs, data feeds, and dashboards. Automate monitoring and alerts.
• Strategic Risk Input : Support trading model reviews, liquidity provider performance, product launches, and represent risk in operational discussions.
• Post-Trade Review & Incident Response : Lead investigations into pricing errors, client behavior, or platform issues, providing actionable feedback.
