Electrical Maintenance Engineer

We're recruiting on behalf of a business in the Sheffield area that is looking to increase their engineering team with a mechanical fitter. This business has grown year on year and has invested heavily in their manufacturing facility and has ambitious plans to replicate this.

This role is working a 40-hour week on days with a salary of £35,000 to begin, then rising to £41,000 after probation.

Responsibilities

• Reactive and proactive maintenance activities
• Working on a variety of heavy machinery
• Understand electrical systems and diagnose problems / plant faults constructively and accurately.
• Take part in the development, creation, and implementation of PPM schedules
• Record daily activities and create work orders within the site CMMS
• Attend and contribute towards daily and weekly planned maintenance meetings
• Identify / specify and order critical parts
