Data Annotator – Life Sciences | Hybrid | Up to £41,843

Are you experienced in metadata, controlled vocabularies, and structured data within the life sciences? This could be your next move.

A nationally recognised research organisation is looking for a Data Annotator to join a collaborative data stewardship team. You’ll help shape data standards and support the integration of diverse datasets across life sciences, contributing to a major national programme accelerating the translation of research into clinical impact.

What you’ll be doing :

• Working with scientific stakeholders to define and harmonise metadata across various data modalities
• Contributing to open-source pipelines and structured data documentation
• Supporting FAIR data compliance and validating data quality using established metrics
• Engaging with software teams to help standardise data at the point of ingest
• Collaborating with other UK life sciences institutions to share best practices
