Key responsibilities

Planning and Delivering Lessons : Develop engaging, creative, and age-appropriate lesson plans that align with the curriculum and meet the diverse needs of students.

Classroom Management : Create a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment where students feel motivated to learn and behave responsibly.

Support and Guidance : Offer emotional, social, and academic support to students, identifying and addressing any individual learning needs.

Safeguarding and Welfare : Ensure the safety and well-being of all students, adhering to safeguarding policies and promoting a supportive environment.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience as a primary school teacher, preferably within the relevant year group(s).
• Strong knowledge and understanding of the national curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Passionate about creating a positive learning environment and promoting the well-being of students.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to effectively manage time and resources.
• Commitment to professional development and a willingness to contribute to the wider school community.
• Hold a valid DBS or be happy to have one put in process
