Cover Supervisor - Key Stage 1 & 2

Location : Stoke-on-Trent area

Hours : 32.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Contract Type : Full-time, term-time only

Start Date : As soon as possible

Aspire People are looking to appoint a highly motivated and experienced Cover Supervisor to join a vibrant Primary School in the Stoke area. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic professional with a strong background in covering lessons across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.

About The Role

As Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for delivering pre-prepared lessons, managing classroom behaviour, and ensuring a positive learning environment in the absence of the class teacher. You'll work alongside a dedicated staff team that is focused on improving outcomes for all children and fostering a love of learning.

Key Requirements

• Proven experience of covering classes across Key Stage 1 and 2
• A clear understanding of effective teaching and learning practices
• High expectations for pupil progress, behaviour, and engagement
• The ability to make learning enjoyable, accessible, and purposeful
• Passion for education and a commitment to helping all children succeed
• A team player with a positive attitude and a good sense of humour
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
