SEND Teacher – Newcastle upon Tyne
Location : Newcastle upon Tyne
Pay : £150 – £207 per day (depending on experience)
Full-time | Monday to Friday | Term-time only
Are you a dedicated teacher with a passion for supporting young people with special educational needs? We're currently seeking a compassionate and skilled SEND Teacher to join a specialist provision in Newcastle that supports children and young people with a range of needs including autism, ADHD, and social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) difficulties.

The Role :
As an SEND Teacher, you will :
- Deliver tailored lessons that meet a range of learning needs
- Support students on EHCPs in both academic and emotional development
- Adapt resources to suit individual learning styles and abilities
- Work closely with teaching assistants, therapists, and the wider SEND team
- Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment where all students feel safe and supported
What We’re Looking For :
QTS or QTLS (Essential)Experience working with SEND pupils, either in a mainstream or specialist settingKnowledge of differentiated teaching strategies for SENDStrong communication and behaviour management skillsA calm, nurturing, and patient approachEnhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)What You’ll Get :
