Position Overview

Job Title : Electronic Trading Governance and Control Strategist

Location : London

Corporate Title : Vice President

Group Strategic Analytics, part of Group COO, bridges the Bank’s businesses and infrastructure to enhance efficiency, control, and transformation. Deutsche Bank Investment Banking is a leading provider of electronic trading solutions globally.

You will be part of the central e-trading team managing risks, controls, and business management across lines of business, including projects related to regulatory compliance and business information management.

Key Responsibilities

Enhance and maintain algorithmic trading risk / control frameworks, conduct risk assessments, and produce reports for senior management

Serve as the primary contact for operational risk framework requirements, collaborating with stakeholders to maintain documentation

Support change review and approval processes for algorithmic trading

Update operational risk procedures and control standards

Assist with audits and regulatory reviews, prioritize JIRAs, and document system changes

Prepare materials for governance forums and support incident reviews and application assessments

Skills and Experience

Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, including report writing

Understanding of e-trading, risk management frameworks, and automated trading including DEA

Experience in operational risk management, audit, and compliance within e-trading

Familiarity with technology processes like circuit breakers and system deployment

Knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle, JIRA, Confluence, Tableau
