The Role : An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Controls Engineer with expertise in power electronics and embedded systems. The successful candidate will join a forward-thinking engineering team developing advanced technology solutions for global defence, aerospace, and marine applications. These include motor drives, inverters, converters, and high-performance power management systems.

This hands-on role involves working within a collaborative, multidisciplinary team of hardware, mechanical, and systems engineers. The engineer will play a key part in delivering innovative, real-world solutions that enhance the effectiveness of naval and aerospace platforms across allied forces.

Key Responsibilities :

• Serve as the embedded controls specialist within a small, focused team developing electrical power systems.
• Design system architectures and collaborate with electronics and systems engineers to deliver robust solutions.
• Develop and implement embedded software using DSPs and microcontrollers (primarily in C / C++).
