Prospero Teaching are currently seeking a recent psychology graduate to join a lovely SEN school in Cheadle, as a teaching assistant. This is a full time position to start ASAP, with likelihood of temp to perm.

The Role :

Providing tailored support, working with children with SEN and complex needs
Providing personal care
Creating a safe environment that allows children to have fun, learn and succeed
Providing academic support
Location : Stockport (Cheadle Hulme)
Position : SEN TA
Hours : 8 : 30am-3 : 30pm
Type of Work : Temporary
Full time / Part time : Full time only
Minimum Rate of Pay : £105 per day, depending on experience
End date : Ongoing

Experience, Training & Qualifications :

A recent graduate looking for work experience within SEN

Experience supporting pupils with SEN / experience supporting those with complex needs in a care setting

Strong teamwork ethic

Driven, energetic and keen to pursue a career within education and SEN

ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST :

Hold Right to Work in the UK

Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application

Provide two professional child related references that cover the last two years
