About the Role
We’re looking for a Performance Analyst to join one of our projects for a public sector client.
In this role, you’ll help teams across the department make data-driven decisions, measure performance, and improve services for millions of users.
As a Performance Analyst, you will work with service and product teams to define meaningful metrics, evaluate service performance, and provide insights supporting continuous improvement and accountability.

Contract Type : Fixed-term Contract
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain performance frameworks and dashboards to track KPIs across digital and operational services.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including product managers, service designers, user researchers, and developers to support service improvements through data.
- Translate complex datasets into clear, actionable insights for decision-making.
- Establish and embed performance measurement approaches within services.
- Apply tools and techniques such as A / B testing, funnel analysis, cohort analysis, and root cause analysis.
- Ensure data quality and work with data engineers and scientists as needed.
- Promote a data-driven culture and best practices.
- Present findings to stakeholders at all levels, from operational staff to senior leadership.
Essential Skills and Experience
Strong analytical skills with experience using data to drive decisions and measure performance.Proficiency in tools such as Google Analytics, SQL, Excel, R or Python, and data visualization platforms like Power BI or Tableau.Experience working in agile environments, ideally in the public sector or large organizations.Ability to engage and influence stakeholders through data storytelling and evidence-based recommendations.Comfortable managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.Familiarity with GDS service standards and performance frameworks is desirable.Desirable Experience
Understanding of user-centered design, digital transformation, or service delivery within government.Previous experience in the public sector.Experience leading performance reviews, service assessments, or continuous improvement projects.J-18808-Ljbffr
