As an ECT, you’ll be supported through a comprehensive induction programme, with mentoring from experienced staff, regular CPD, and access to a network of colleagues who are passionate about teaching and student success. 🎓 Your Role As an Early Career Design and Technology Teacher, you will :

• Teach dynamic and engaging Design and Technology lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4, helping them develop technical skills and creative confidence
• Introduce students to a wide range of materials, techniques, and design processes
• Support students in developing their ideas from concept to finished product, fostering both creativity and problem-solving abilities
• Work collaboratively with other members of the Design and Technology team to plan and deliver a rich, exciting curriculum
• Provide regular feedback and assessments, helping students track their progress and achieve their potential
• Encourage students to engage in extracurricular activities such as design exhibitions and other creative school events
• Create a supportive, stimulating classroom environment that inspires creativity and independent thinking ✅ What We’re Looking For We are looking for an enthusiastic Early Career Design and Technology Teacher who :
• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or will have QTS by September 2025
• Has a degree in Design and Technology or a related field
• Is passionate about teaching Design and Technology and eager to inspire students of all abilities to explore their creativity
• Demonstrates strong communication, organisational, and classroom management skills
• Is motivated to develop professionally, with a commitment to ongoing learning and growth as an ECT
