Service Advisor

Vehicle Service Advisor required in Cirencester.

• SALARY : Up to £25,000 starting basic salary plus bonus providing a £32,000 annual on-target earnings
• HOURS : 8 : 00am-6 : 00pm Mon to Fri with Sat 8 : 30am-12 : 30pm on a rota.

A not-to-miss opportunity has become available for an experienced and professional Service Advisor at our client's franchise-approved car dealership in Cirencester.

Reporting to the Service Manager and working alongside another Service Advisor and a workshop team, you will need to be a confident relationship builder and be able to influence and advise customers on minor technical issues with their vehicle whilst delivering a first-class service, also achieving the company objectives and targets. You will greet customers in the Service Department and book their vehicles in for associated repair work, have extensive liaison with the workshop to chase work in progress, up-sell on additional products and services where possible, and keep customers informed of the progress of their vehicle whilst taking payments for work completed.

Do you need previous Service Advisor experience? In short; no!

To be eligible, you will ideally live within a reasonable commuting distance of Cirencester and will be able to deliver the very highest level of customer service through strong communication skills, resulting in total customer satisfaction. Very strong organisational skills along with IT literacy would be of high priority. Experience with Kerridge / Keyloop would be advantageous but is non-essential. Recent or current experience as a Service Advisor within a similar automotive business would be highly advantageous, however, is non-essential provided you have a strong track record in customer service / sales / hospitality, are a confident communicator, and have a basic mechanical understanding of vehicles. A UK driving license with minimal points is essential.
