Mobile HGV Trailer Technician

Up to £50,000 per year + bonuses

Covering the M1 corridor J21 to J45

Were on the lookout for a seasoned HGV Trailer Technician to join a growing team of specialists, offering top-tier trailer servicing and repairs across a key stretch of the M1. If you know your way around a trailer and want the freedom of mobile workwith the support and structure of a well-run operation behind youread on.

About the Role

This is a mobile position, covering the M1 corridor from Junction 30 to Junction 45. Youll be out on the road, carrying out servicing, fault finding, and repairs on HGV trailers. Your day-to-day could include MOT prep, deck repairs, and Loler-related work. Its hands-on, varied, and perfect for someone who enjoys working independently but still wants to feel part of a team.

Youll be working 8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday, with overtime available if you want to top up your pay. Tools, parts, and a kitted-out van are all provided.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday

Overtime available

Monthly paid, with performance bonuses

Key Duties

Servicing and repairing HGV trailers on-site and on the road

MOT preparation

Deck repairs and structural maintenance

Loler-related inspections and repair work

Accurate job logging and diagnostics reporting

Communicating effectively with the office team for scheduling and updates

Key Requirements

Proven experience working on HGV trailers (mobile or workshop)

Confident with fault finding, repairs, and servicing

Good knowledge of MOT prep and Loler work

Full UK driving licence

Able to work independently and manage your own time effectively

Flexible and solution-focused attitude
