Junior Data Engineer - SQL, Python, BI

Join a high-performing Research & Strategy team working closely with private equity partners to drive investment insight and strategy across EMEA. This role is ideal for a forward-thinking and analytical data engineer passionate about real estate, investment, and data infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

Build and maintain large, complex data sets from internal and external sources, including API integration and scripting.

Design and implement scalable infrastructure and automate manual processes.

Manage data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) using AWS and SQL technologies.

Develop analytical tools and dashboards (e.g., using Tableau) to deliver actionable business insights.

Ensure data quality and governance through robust validation processes.

Key Requirements

1–2 years of experience in data engineering or a related role.

Proficient in SQL, Python or R, and experienced with BI tools such as Tableau.

Strong analytical, structured, and critical thinking skills.

Familiar with data warehousing concepts (Snowflake, AWS).

Excellent attention to detail and proficiency in MS Office Suite.

A proactive self-starter with strong time and task management skills.

Eagerness to learn and adapt to new data engineering technologies and methodologies.
