Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

Baltic Recruitment are delighted to be supporting our industry leading manufacturing client with their search for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer.

Key Duties :

• Reporting to the Design Manager in a busy design office, working within the engineering team.
• Responsible for aspects of the design from conception to sign off and be heavily involved in the layouts, associated calculations for verification and detailed design.
• Responsible for managing the implementation of innovative solutions & design changes.
• Working within a small team, you will be expected to use own initiative to deliver projects within specification and on time.

Key Requirements :

Must have an organised and methodical approach to the work-load, have an aptitude to processing procedural work i.e. NCR's ECR's etc. An understanding of FEA, DFM would be desirable...
