Due to the nature of work that Sonic Healthcare UK undertakes, our clients require that Employees filling certain roles, need, as part of their on-boarding to complete a DBS Check. This role falls in to the category of requiring a DBS check (standard)

About the role :

A vacancy has arisen for an experienced, HCPC registered biomedical scientist to join the multidisciplinary team at the  Ramsay Rivers Hospital .The hospital is  in rural Hertfordshire, and offers mainly elective surgery and outpatient clinics. There is no A / E, ITU or Maternity unit on site  .

Ideally, The ideal candidate will have experience of working in a busy blood sciences laboratory including haematology, coagulation, biochemistry and blood transfusion .However,. Some

training may be offered to the right candidate if not experienced in all disciplines.

Routine shifts cover between 08 : 00 and 21 : 00 Monday to Friday and an on call rolling rota is in place to cover out of hours and weekends on site .Participation in this rota will be expected after a period of training and assessment of competency. There is additional sessional payments in place for this .
