Description

The Inside Sales Clerk is responsible for managing daily tasks such as pricing import and export LCL quotes, and communicating with clients, origin offices, agents, and vendors to ensure customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Pricing import and export LCL quotes and communicating with clients, origin offices, agents, and vendors to achieve customer satisfaction.
• Following up on quotes over 5cbm and USA by phone; under 5cbm to be emailed for follow-up. Follow-up to be completed and reported within 24 hours of quoting.
• Managing load plans daily, identifying containers loading within 48-72 hours, noting destinations, and identifying enquiries for containers needing CBM to ascertain if clients are ready to move.
• Contactting for quotes of 10cbm+ or new / unrecognised accounts prior to quoting to gather further information.
• Sending secured bookings to the customer service team with all necessary information.
• Calling "New Log In" accounts to identify potential business and assess account suitability for access.
• Making at least one sales call per day, logging calls in the company CRM along with pipeline, sales leads, and relevant materials.
• Assisting field sales with direct leads and potential client visits as required.
• Answering client and vendor calls daily and promptly returning voicemails.
• Forwarding all claims intentions to the Claims Department within 24 hours.

The Inside Sales Clerk handles daily tasks including pricing import / export LCL quotes and communicating with clients, origin offices, agents, and vendors to ensure customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include following up on quotes, managing load plans, contacting for quotes on larger or new accounts, sending bookings, qualifying new accounts, making sales calls, assisting field sales, answering calls, and forwarding claims.
