Kenton Black are recruiting for a permanent Quantity Surveyor position in East Scotland.

Our client is delivering a flagship £20m new build project in the education sector and is seeking a skilled and motivated Quantity Surveyor to join their team. With over 2 years project duration ahead and future work targeted in healthcare and higher education across the East, this opportunity offers long-term stability and progression for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities :

Lead and manage commercial activities on a major new build education project
Prepare and review accurate cost plans, procurement packages, and contract documentation
Oversee subcontractor engagement, payments, and valuations
Monitor project finances and provide timely cost reporting
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure value and efficiency

What You Bring :

Proven experience in quantity surveying on large-scale construction projects

Strong knowledge of NEC contracts and cost management processes

Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Degree / HND in Quantity Surveying or equivalent qualification

A results-driven mindset with a commitment to quality delivery
