All Solo collections vehicles are designed and built by our own manufacturing and engineering department. We take pride in our trucks, ensuring our vehicles are clean, well-presented, safe, and compliant with all EPA requirements.

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and skilled full-time Heavy Vehicle Mechanic, based in our busy workshop in Wingfield, SA.

Reporting directly to the Workshop Foreman, your responsibilities will include :

  • General mechanical works
  • Major and minor repairs
  • Carrying out breakdowns
  • Scheduled maintenance in our spacious heavy vehicle workshop

    • The successful applicant will possess :

  • A current HR license
  • Familiarity with Quality Assurance & Occupational Health & Safety
  • Good communication and organizational skills
  • Experience in hydraulics, automotive electrics, and welding is advantageous but not essential
  • Previous experience in a similar role is highly regarded

    • Applicants will be required to undergo a Pre-Employment Medical including a drug test and provide a current driving history.
