Quality Assistant

Our team in Glasgow currently has an opening for a Quality Assistant .

As a Quality Assistant, it will be your responsibility :

• To implement and monitor compliance of the QMS.
• For all day-to-day quality compliance issues and resolving any process anomalies.
• Investigate and co-ordinate customer complaints, including customer responses.
• Report and use trend data and putting improvement actions in place.
• Responsible for running audit system, allocating audits and ensuring they are carried out.
• Chair customer audits and bringing in other members of staff as necessary.
• Complete internal audits.
• Agree corrective actions after audits and communicating and / or implementing.
• Become the Quality Representative with respect to external auditors and customers.
• Perform basic analytical tasks such as appearance, pH, specific gravity and other tests.
• Plan and prioritize the day-to-day workload in the lab, maintain archive of samples, maintain the laboratory stock of chemicals and consumable items.
• Be flexible and adaptable in working in different areas within the depot if and when required.
