Job description

Are you an experienced Accounts professional looking for a new opportunity within an accountancy practice? Look no further! We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and talented Accounts Senior who is keen to join a supportive and sociable team in Maidstone, Kent.

Responsibilities :

Preparing annual accounts for a range of clients, but predominantly Limited companies under FRS102 Section 1a

Drafting Corporation Tax returns for review by the specialist CT team

Building and maintaining strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and providing exceptional client service

Mentoring and supporting junior team members, assisting with their professional development

Keeping up-to-date with changes in accounting regulations and industry trends, applying this knowledge to enhance service delivery

Supporting the Managers with other ad-hoc work as required

Requirements :

Previous experience in accounts preparation within an accountancy practice is essential

Solid knowledge of accounting principles, a general understanding of corporation tax and experience with relevant software (Xero & QuickBooks)

Effective communication and interpersonal skills

Professional qualifications such as being AAT qualified or studying towards ACA or ACCA would be beneficial, but they are willing to support and fund your study journey if desired
