Transport Operations Administrator

Operating a modern mixed fleet of maintained vehicles, our growing company wishes to welcome new operations administration staff to the team.

The position of Transport Operations Administrator will provide support within the Operations Team in a role that is both demanding but rewarding.

The Role :

Liaise with customer / supplier via telephone / email

Instructing drivers of duties, document completion, end of day debriefs

Vehicle fleet administration, maintenance & scheduling

Pricing, job creation, consignment processing

Maintain systems and processes

Maintain company efficiency, productivity, and profitability

Maintain transport regulation and H&S procedures

Ability to supervise and maintain discipline

What we need from you :

IT literacy with Microsoft word, excel, and Outlook experience

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build good working relationships

Full Driving Licence Required

Minimum 2 years of previous Transport Administration Experience

Ability to think on your feet, prioritize and organize in a logical order

Creative, motivated & ambitious, proactive with good problem-solving skills

Adaptable in a changeable environment approach to work with the ability to multi-task

A Previous Traceable Experience of Transport Administration experience

Flexible Helpful Customer Focused Attitude

An Open Mind

Dedication and a Can Do Attitude with the Desire to Complete Your Tasks

Strong attention to detail, able to work under pressure and able to resolve problems

Assertive but Friendly Attitude

You will be required to complete a probationary period

Expect the unexpected as we provide 24 / 7 transport services nationwide

Candidates should be aware that the position may involve lifting and you should be physically fit

28,405 per annum dependent on experience
