Are you a fully qualified HGV Fitter / Mechanic / Technician living in the Newcastle-under-Lyme area looking for a workshop based role? Are you looking for a Monday to Friday, day shift role? The role of the HGV Technician : You will be working on a variety of tractor and trailer units of differing makes and models, of differing ages and possibly the odd tanker. You will be carrying out inspections to a varied and diverse fleet and you can expect to be situated in a positive and vibrant working environment.

The type of work as a HGV Technician you can expect to be carrying out includes (but is not limited to) :

• Routine (and preventative) maintenance
• MOT preparation
• Scheduled servicing to DVSA standards
• 6 (or 8) weekly inspections
• Correction of running defects
• Chassis and fabrication work
• Hydraulics and pneumatics
• Improvement of vehicle standards
• Electrical and wiring inspections and corrections
