About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Application Technologist to join our client in Cambridgeshire!

Our client produces a wide range of options, developing thousands of food and beverage products for customers across the globe, using their cutting-edge technology, innovative thinking and many years of experience, to elevate products.

They manage the whole process of developing new flavours from the initial idea to production, operating from purpose-built manufacturing and research facilities in the UK.

This is an excellent opportunity to work with a highly experienced team of Account Managers, Flavourists, Technologists, Quality Control and Assurance experts and Manufacturing Operators who have spent most of their working life in the flavour industry, across every discipline.

You would gain exposure across multiple applications, including Confection, Dairy, Ice Cream, Bakery, Soups, Sauces, Snacks, Meat, Nutrition & Beverages.

Your Main responsibilities…

• Conduct flavour trials and sensory evaluations to ensure product quality and consistency
• Provide technical support to clients and assist them in the application of our sweet flavour solutions
• Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging flavour technologies
• Participate in the development of new sweet flavour concepts and product lines
• Assist in troubleshooting and problem-solving for flavour-related issues
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of experiments and trials
• Comply with quality control and safety standards in the laboratory
