Vehicle Technician

Allied Vehicles is a leading UK-based company specializing in the design, manufacture, and supply of wheelchair-accessible vehicles (WAVs) and related mobility solutions.

We're a leading multi-brand specialist in servicing and accident repair, Allied Vehicles Limited are seeking talented individuals to join our award-winning, dynamic team. If you're passionate about cars and enjoy a fast-paced environment, we're the place for you!

The working pattern is Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm, with an additional 4 hours on a Saturday on a rotational basis (roughly every 1 in 7).

The basic salary starts from £ 43,758 , with a time saved efficiency bonus on top!

The main duties of the role are :

• Perform high-quality maintenance and repairs on customer vehicles, adhering to standard job times.
• Conduct MOT tests in line with DVSA guidelines (if certified).
• Specialise in diagnostics, efficiently identifying root causes and carrying out repairs.
• Continuously enhance technical skills by participating in on-site training, attending supplier and manufacturer courses, and reviewing technical bulletins.
• Communicate with customers about any issues with their vehicles, ensuring professionalism and exceptional service at all times.
• Uphold high standards of housekeeping and comply with health and safety practices.
• Accurately complete vehicle condition reports and job cards.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills and experience and will have the ability to diagnose and repair complex automotive issues .

You will hold a level 3 SVQ in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair .
