HGV Driver and Operative - START ASAP!

This post is not a full-time driving role but a role for an individual with HGV driving qualifications and experience.

Over the last decade, Thomann-Hanry has grown significantly and continues to expand its portfolio of works, requiring a dedicated team and resources to enable the company to deliver the best possible service to all clients. Thomann-Hanry works to restore some of the most important and historic buildings in London such as the ‘National Gallery' and the ‘Bank of England'.

This role will support the team through loading, unloading, driving and operating of truck mounts, MEWPS, company lorries and vehicles whilst supporting our on-site teams with various tasks involved with cleaning and restoring of buildings.

Key Responsibilities :

• Driving and operating truck mounts, MEWPS and company lorries and vehicles.
• Loading, unloading, and strapping down of vehicles.
• Ability to complete thorough vehicle checks for road worthiness.
• Assisting specialists in completion of their duties and on-site support including basic construction tasks.
• Disseminating Health and Safety information and documents ensuring all is completed compliant.
• Responding to enquiries.
• Working and communicating well within a team.
• Meeting clients and fostering relationships.

To qualify you should be an experienced HGV Driver who is also happy to carry out Manual Operative / General Labourer tasks and who can demonstrate the following :
