About the role

The Role

Our nationwide Trenching and Shoring division hires equipment across the construction, utilities, and infrastructure industries, including chain slings, manhole lifters, ladders, lifting pins, manhole chain clamps, and counterbalanced davit systems.

The Driver Labourer is responsible for maintaining the workshop and yard areas, ensuring they are clean, tidy, and free of hazards, with tools stored correctly. They must also ensure that plant equipment leaving the depot is pressure cleaned, refueled, and that fuel logs are updated accurately.

The role includes loading, delivering, and collecting hire equipment from customer sites promptly and professionally. On-site, the Driver Labourer may need to demonstrate equipment and must complete all relevant checks and administration accurately.

About You

Candidates should demonstrate :

• Experience in a driving role involving delivery and collection of equipment
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced depot environment with attention to detail
• Understanding of Health & Safety protocols and adherence to these guidelines
• Full driving license is essential
