Electronic Design and Support Engineer

A well established and expanding company who design and manufacture electronic instruments for the scientific industry have an immediate requirement for an experienced Electronic Product Support Engineer to join them at their offices near Newmarket, Cambridgeshire.

Location : CB25 0HL, Burwell, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire – the company are quite rural so a car is essential

Salary : Circa £40,000 – £45,000 excellent benefits.

As Electronic Product Support Engineer you will be part of a team providing product support service to the manufacturing team. This involves fault finding and resolving electronic product faults, finding alternative electronic parts and repairing failed products.

Key responsibilities :

• Fault-find & carry out repairs
• Introduce improvements to products
• Assist New Product Introduction into Manufacture
• Introduce improvements to product quality
• Solve customer Technical Support problems.
• Work on product support projects.
• Assist with new product prototyping, test & introduction to Manufacture.

As Electronic Product Support Engineer will have at least 4 years proven technical problem-solving experience with electronic products and their manufacture.

Ae Electronic Product Support Engineer you will have a passion for providing a high level of support, be flexible and willing to turn a hand to repairs, production support and test equipment development when required.

You will have excellent problem-solving skills and be self-motivated.
