Job description

Pensions Actuarial Consultant - London or Winchester

An exciting opportunity for a qualified actuary with at least four years' experience in UK pensions consulting. This role offers the chance to work on a variety of DB pension schemes, providing actuarial advice to trustees and sponsors.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead actuarial calculations and review technical work such as valuations, member options, and pensions accounting.
  • Take ownership of workstreams with support from senior team members.
  • Attend and present at client meetings, developing consulting skills.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and key pensions issues.

You will have :

  • Strong technical pensions knowledge, including actuarial valuations and GMP equalisation (preferred).
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to manage workloads and delegate effectively.
  • Commercial awareness and a client-focused approach.
