Job Description :

Job Title : Social Worker – Safeguarding

Location : Somerset

Rate : £38 per hour

Our client in Somerset is looking for an experienced and dedicated Social Worker to join their Adults Services team.

Responsibilities :

Support triage decision-making processes and undertake Section 42 enquiries to assess and mitigate risks.
Develop and implement protection plans for individuals at risk of abuse or neglect.
Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with safeguarding procedures.
Work closely with vulnerable adults across Somerset, demonstrating strong risk management skills.

Qualifications and Experience :

Previous experience in adult safeguarding and understanding of safeguarding practices.

Confident in record-keeping, risk management, and decision-making in triage situations.

Willingness to travel for site visits.

Social Work England registration.

Eligibility to work in the UK.

Degree-level qualification in Social Work.
