The Finance team has an opportunity for a Senior Finance Business Partner in the North West.
About the Opportunity
The role will deliver a complete reporting and business partnering service for the Directorate. Provision of all monthly and annual reporting, with a focus on identifying business process and data quality improvements that will provide more accurate, informative, and timely MI. This will facilitate senior leadership discussions on performance, productivity, and efficiency initiatives.
The role will seek to improve the end-to-end reporting process (costs and volumes where appropriate), from initial data capture, system, and business processes, through to end stakeholder reporting.
The role will have a clear focus on developing a common understanding of performance, considering consequences to forecast periods, and identifying areas requiring further investigation / analysis, with the aim of supporting the leadership team in delivery of improved financial performance.
The role is a key part of the financial control structure of Electricity North-West. As such the role is responsible for ensuring the timeliness and accuracy of the financial results of the Directorate, providing analysis and explanation to the Directorate, and other senior stakeholders, whilst supporting delivery of all financial and regulatory requirements to a high standard.
