Finance Business Partner

Finance Business Partner Reading / Hybrid 12-month Contract On behalf of our public sector client, we are recruiting a Finance Business Partner to join a high-performing finance team providing essential financial insight and support across the organisation. This is a key role in driving effective financial planning, performance monitoring, and stakeholder engagement. Key Responsibilities :

• Support the preparation and monitoring of budgets and forecasts, including change control.
• Conduct cost monitoring and variance analysis, providing input to financial reports and impact statements.
• Build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders, including budget holders and senior leaders.
• Provide accurate, timely financial information to support operational decision-making and business case development.
• Contribute to continuous improvement in financial processes and reporting.
• Support cost benchmarking and the development of cost breakdown structures (CBS). Criteria :
• Proven experience in financial planning, analysis, or business partnering.
• Strong Excel and data interpretation skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, with confidence in presenting financial information.
