An inclusive and forward-thinking school in Swindon is seeking a Head of Food Technology to inspire the next generation of young chefs and nutrition-conscious learners. The school promotes hands-on learning, cross-curricular themes, and whole-child development. The Role As Head of Food Technology, you’ll lead planning, delivery, and assessment of a dynamic Food & Nutrition curriculum at KS3 and KS4. You'll be responsible for food safety standards, supervising specialist technicians, and ensuring excellent practical outcomes. Responsibilities

• Curriculum leadership and planning
• Ensuring compliance with health, hygiene, and safety regulations
• Promoting healthy lifestyles and sustainable food practices
• Managing departmental budgets and resources
• Overseeing extracurricular activities such as cooking clubs and competitions Who You Are
• A qualified teacher (QTS) with specialist Food Tech experience
• Leadership or coordination experience in a D&T faculty
• Passionate about hands-on, practical teaching and life skills
