Life Enrichment Assistant

Position Summary :

Under the general direction of the Life Enrichment Director, the primary responsibility of this role is to enrich the lives of our residents.

Primary Responsibilities :

• Ensure the highest quality of customer service for residents.
• Engage in prospective resident visits and perform welcome orientations for new residents.
• Develop monthly programs based on the Whole Person Wellness Model, incorporating at least two of the six experiences : Intellectual, Social, Emotional, Vocational, and Spiritual.
• Utilize iPads to enhance residents' lives and manage photos for community TVs and Facebook.
• Proficiently use software applications and tools used by American House for the Life Enrichment position.
• Schedule weekend activities and be available to work on weekends for events.
• Represent American House professionally at community events.
• Drive a 14-passenger bus to provide transportation for group events and personal appointments.
• Update seasonal and holiday decorations throughout the building.
• Oversee the volunteer program.
• Notify the Life Enrichment Director of emergency situations.
• Report directly to the Life Enrichment Director.
