Diagnostic Laboratory of Oklahoma- Ponca City, OK Monday-Friday 0930-2000

Essential Functions of Employment with DLO :

• Show up for work, on time & prepared each and every scheduled work day
• Perform all tasks and processes assigned to you including all tasks and processes you are fully qualified to perform and all tasks and processing that you may be over-qualified to perform
• Maintain a positive and supportive attitude throughout each and every scheduled work day & work as a collaborative team member with your fellow teammates on a daily basis

Main Duties : Performs routine testing in blood bank, chemistry, hematology, urinalysis, serology, coagulation and microbiology. Assist with specimen processing as needed. Follow employer policies. Work with fellow employees in a professional, productive manner. Perform instrument maintenance and troubleshooting. Main responsibility will be duties in the clinical laboratory. Additional duties will include assisting supervisor / manager with special projects / assignments.

Responsibilities

Required Knowledge : Understanding of standard laboratory processes and procedures. Must be able to follow written and oral instructions. Must have a good understanding of laboratory quality assurance standards. Must have good computer skills.

Required Experience : AS degree in Medical Lab Technology or BS in Medical Technology . ASCP MT / MLT certification or equivalent or be eligible for national MT / MLT certification.

Qualifications

Special Requirements : Good customer service skills is a must. Some phlebotomy tasks will be required. Holiday and weekend rotation may be required. May be required to work outside of regularly scheduled hours.
