Overview

First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a HGV Fitter / Technician on behalf of one of our clients.

Our client encourages applications from ex-military personnel however all candidates will be given due consideration.

Duties and Responsibilities for the HGV Trailer Technician :

Working in a purpose-built service bay.
Servicing and repair of equipment to MOT standard complying with local and national requirements by testing according to standards, making corrections and adjustments.
Ensure workshop tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner to the required standard.
Maintaining a good level of housekeeping

Skills and Qualifications for the HGV Trailer Technician :

Experience required in trailer servicing / MOT preparation, brake reline, EBS / ABS diagnostics, electrical fault finding along with all other maintenance requirements to keep trailers safe on the road, including PDI.

Able to work independently and as part of team.

Able to accurately identify faults and repair them accordingly.

Be a highly motivated individual.

Location : Snetterton

Salary : £25,000 – £34,000 per annum
