You’ll be working on the Research Authoring project. This project provides funding to cover business delivery of new Research Product and Content offerings to Clients to increase engagement and contractual sign-up for income.

This editorial and publishing platform provides complete control of the content management process from initial planning and workflow coordination to final publication. It facilitates global collaborative authoring, integration with Excel to add charts and tables from company models and a workflow to ensure all documents gets approved before they get published. This application is used by analysts globally in Research in the USA, UK and Germany.

Deutsche Bank Research is responsible for economic analysis within Deutsche Bank Group and covers asset allocation and all major industry sectors. They analyse relevant trends for the bank in financial markets, the economy and society, highlight risks and opportunities and act as consultant for the bank, its clients, and stakeholders.

You will be working as a software engineer in the Data Innovation Group (DIG) within the Corporate and Investment Bank (CIB) Technology division. The DIG team works very closely with the Primary Research group that sits within Research to support their generation of ideas for internal and external clients of the bank. The development team is actively involved in both the research and development and then the ‘productionisation' of products from the Primary Research group.

DIG software runs on Fabric (a Kubernetes platform) and is built using Python, Java and uses open-source components such as Pyspark. User interface development uses React / Redux.
